Radar / ‘In Parallel’ By Marsha Swanson

Marsha Swanson

London-based singer-songwriter Marsha Swanson is set to release her highly-anticipated new single ‘In Parallel’ on June 9th. Swanson, who has been described by Rock and Reel Magazine as “a writer of intelligent and thought-provoking songs with the added bonus of being ridiculously catchy,” is the winner of ‘Best Folk Artist and Best Album’ and is known for her genre-defying style.

Drawing inspiration from great musicians like Carole King, Kate Bush, Tori Amos, David Bowie, John Martyn, Elton John, The Beatles, and Fiona Apple, Marsha’s style is distinctive, “off the beaten track,” and “grown-up pop” anchored by a “romantic realism” that is difficult to find elsewhere.

‘In Parallel’ is a distinct blend of musical styles and intelligent lyrics that speak of the obstacles and complexities of maintaining long-term relationships. With a plethora of instruments that jump out of the production, the track combines several styles into one coherent whole, creating a sound that will have you grasping the speaker rim!

Swanson collaborated with a team of celebrated musicians, including Henry (King Thumb) Thomas, famous for his role as a co-presenter and writer contributor of the BBC TV series Rockschool. The single was recorded at the famous Konk Studios by multi-platinum-selling producer Iestyn Polson, best known for his work with David Gray, Patti Smith, and David Bowie.

‘In Parallel’ is a must-listen for singer-songwriter enthusiasts and anyone looking for something new, fresh, and soulful. The stunning video release will be available worldwide on June 9th, promising an unforgettable experience that is not to be missed.
